July Revolution - Historical Significance of the month July

July is the name of seventh month in Julian calendar and Gregorian calendar. The name was chosen from the name of the great Roman Emperor Julius caesar who proposed and adopted the Julian calender in 46 B.C. The great Democratic Revolutions of the 18th century started  in America and France on 4th july and 14 th july respectively.  In India, recently 0n 25th july first tribal woman President Dropati Murmuji took oath in the largest democracy of the world.  The revolutionary slogan of French philosphers i.e, Liberty🗽, Equality, and Fraternity still inspiring our leaders to take steps which may result in revolutionary consequences. We must remember this month for its historical significance.

When human society became bigger and complex, a political set up came up to govern a group of people (society) in a better way. Consequently,a strong and able person in the tribal society became the leader or ruler of the earliest form of society. Subsequently as a tribal society became very big by subduing niebouring groups, it took the form of a Kingdom and Empire. Soon two form of kingship established in the ancient period itself. The first was the Monarchy and the Second was the Republic.  The monarchial rule was autocratic and heriditary. Where as the Republican form of rule was working on the principle of an elected king.  After the rise of modern west, new forms of State in the form of constitutional democratic state and socialist state became popular in the aftermath of Industrial Revolution in Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries.  Both the system, spread in the world due to decolonisation of colonial countries in the 20th century and competed with each other.  From the end o

After 75 years of independence India is once again described as a one of the 10 wealthiest country but bulk of people living in country are still poor.  What kind of economic development our country is undergoing?

Writing post on blog is a step forward.  Some concerning facts about Indian economy; The scenario of India's economic development like this;in which India's external debt is 20% of GDP(620.7 billion US dollar), record huge trade deficit (25.63 billion US dollar) , low per capita income, and one of the most backward country in the world (145th) according to the Human Development Report of United Nations, can we hopeful about the overall economic development of the whole country? Modernization, Technological advancement and selected development of some pockets may be cheating and mirage for majority of people living in the huge length and breadth of our country.
